My Tribute to My Aunt Jayne
My Aunt Jayne was always one to take interest in me. She encourage me in my pursuits. I have very fond memories of staying with her & Uncle Dick at their home in Clio. One of my most vivid memories was one of the first time I spent the night at her home. She had a big staircase with a huge painting at the top. I do not remember what was in the painting but I recall being too afraid to walk up that staircase alone. So Aunt Jayne would take me by the hand & walk with me. She was very kind to me. I also remember the time she gave me the words to the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. It became one of the things the Lord used in my life to teach me my need to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, an event which has forever changed my life.
I shall miss my Aunt Jayne. Her joy of life was most contagious. Her love of the arts lives on in her son John who introduced me to the beauty of string art when I was a young boy.
